Mrs Anagha Joshi
Mrs Anagha Joshi is a dedicated classical vocalist and spiritual seeker whose life and practice are rooted in the transformative power of music as a path to God-realisation. She holds a B.A. in Music and has devoted herself to Indian classical vocal music not merely as an art form, but as a medium of sustained spiritual practice.
For the past 25 years, under the guidance of Sacchidanand Parabrahman Dr Athavale, she has been engaged in full-time spiritual practice at Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay. Her journey reflects a rare integration of disciplined musical training and earnest spiritual pursuit.
As part of her seva, she contributes actively to the propagation of Spirituality by conducting Bal Sanskar (value education) classes for children, guiding satsangs and delivering pravachans and managing district-level organisational responsibilities. She also participates in research-based experiments in music conducted by the University and is involved in writing and study on the theme of God-realisation through music.
With a spiritual level above 60 %, Mrs Joshi continues her spiritual practice with the aim of attaining the Divine through music, exemplifying how music, devotion, and disciplined practice can converge into a powerful spiritual path.
