The effect on the positive aura of an artist over 1 day at the MAV Ashram

What unfolds when a renowned Indian classical vocalist enters a spiritually charged environment for a day ? MAV explored this question during the visit of Mr. Gaurish Talwalkar, a respected classical singer from Goa and recipient of the title Sangeet Alankar. Known for his celebrated renditions of Geet Mahabharata and Geet Gurucharitra, Mr. Talwalkar spent a full day at the MAV Ashram interacting with seekers and Saints, chanting the Name of God, and offering a musical performance. This presented a unique opportunity to study how an artist’s subtle energy responds within a spiritually enriched atmosphere.

Methodology

To understand the changes in his aura, MAV conducted three structured experiments during the visit. A day before his arrival, Mr. Talwalkar shared a photograph, and readings were taken using the Universal Aura Scanner (UAS). These were compared with live readings conducted immediately upon his arrival.

After spending 2–3 hours experiencing the Ashram’s sattvik environment—including a guided tour of the Ashram and a sattvik Ashram meal, another reading was taken just before his musical performance. Mr. Talwalkar then offered a 45-minute rendition of Raag Yaman before an audience that included Saint and Sadguru Dr. Mukul Gadgil. His aura was measured again following the performance.

Later, he joined a 1.5-hour interactive session where seekers shared insights on spiritual practice through music and dance. To conclude, Mr. Talwalkar chanted ||Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya|| for five minutes, after which the final reading was taken.

Key Findings

Before arriving at the Ashram, Mr. Talwalkar’s aura showed no positive reading. Yet, immediately upon entering the Ashram environment, his positive aura emerged at 0.86 m.

Before his musical performance, this expanded significantly to 3.36 m, and following the performance, it grew to 6.43 m.

After participating in the seekers’ sharing session and chanting the Divine Name, his positive aura reached an impressive 8.78 m.

Conclusion

Within just one day, Mr. Talwalkar’s positive aura grew from 0 m to 8.78 m, reflecting the profound upliftment possible in a spiritually nurturing environment. Simple yet powerful elements—sattvik food, divine music, interaction with Saints and seekers, and chanting the Name of God—collectively contributed to this remarkable transformation. These findings highlight the unique spiritual value of spending time in a positive Ashram atmosphere.
