Spiritual Emotion in Dance and Its Effect on the Aura

There is a timeless saying: where there is spiritual emotion, there is God. Inspired by this principle, MAV set out to explore whether performing dance with genuine spiritual emotion could enhance the positivity in one’s aura. When a group of international artists visited the MAV Ashram, it created a rare opportunity to study this phenomenon firsthand.

The group consisted of flamenco dancer Leticia Aravena, Spanish guitarist Carlo Basile, and percussionist Robert Garrett, artists who brought both cultural richness and artistic mastery to the experiment.

Methodology

The study unfolded in two stages. First, the artists performed a flamenco piece, dance and instrumental, without intentionally maintaining any spiritual emotion. Aura readings for all three were taken with the Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) before and after the performance.

Next, the same group performed again, but this time while consciously maintaining the spiritual emotion that God is with them. The UAS readings were again taken before and after this spiritually focused performance.

Key Findings

In the first round, where no spiritual emotion was maintained, the aura readings showed no consistent pattern in either positivity or negativity. However, the second performance demonstrated a striking shift: all three artists showed a clear reduction in negativity and a rise in positive aura. In addition, it was also observed that the dancer’s movements became more smooth and the performer became more engrossed in the dance when dancing with spiritual emotion.

On average, the group’s positive auras increased by 50%, with the flamenco dancer experiencing the most significant change, a remarkable 105.6% increase.

Conclusion

These findings suggest a compelling connection between spiritual emotion and subtle energy. When artists performed with the spiritual emotion that God was with them, their auras became noticeably more positive. This aligns with MAV’s ongoing research on how art forms including dance can serve as powerful pathways to spiritual growth and God-realisation.
