His Holiness (H.H.) Kiran Phatak of Dombivli, Thane, is a classical vocalist whose life beautifully demonstrates how music, when practised with purity and surrender, becomes a direct path to God-realisation. Having reached a spiritual level of 71%, he was felicitated on 26.01.2020 for attaining Sainthood through the sacred and disciplined practice of music.

For H.H. Phatak, music is far more than an artistic expression. It is a medium for God’s attainment, a spiritual offering made at the Holy Feet of Shri Swami Samarth, to whom he has dedicated his life. His devotion gives his music a profound inner depth, allowing listeners to experience divinity through sound.

Moved by the desire for people to understand the spiritual science behind music, he has authored numerous books, sharing his knowledge generously for the upliftment of society. Despite his tremendous spiritual achievements, he remains deeply humble, always feeling that there is more to learn, more to refine, and more to offer.

He continuously dedicates the merit of his practice to Swami Samarth and wishes that any new musical insights he gains be shared with Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay, so that his knowledge may benefit seekers, musicians, and the broader community.

H.H. Phatak’s life radiates simplicity, love, and humility, the natural qualities of one who has transcended the ego and devoted himself entirely to spiritual growth.

His reverence for his Supreme Guru, Paratpar Guru Dr Jayant Athavale, emerges in his heartfelt expression:
“Swami Samarth is sitting in Your form. You are truly worthy of worship.”

H.H. Phatak stands as a living example of how music, when practised as worship, can lead a seeker all the way to Sainthood. His journey continues to inspire all who walk the path of spiritual practice through the power and purity of sound.
