Our Journey

Driving Social Transformation through Spiritual Research and Indian Knowledge Systems

Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay (MAV) undertakes large-scale, impact-oriented projects that integrate Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), scientific research, education, culture, and community wellbeing. Our initiatives are rooted in over four decades of systematic spiritual research and are designed to address contemporary challenges in mental health, education, cultural preservation, sustainable living, and human development.

Through campus-based infrastructure, digital knowledge platforms, research programmes, educational curricula, museums, archives, and immersive learning experiences, MAV translates timeless spiritual wisdom into practical solutions for society. Our CSR projects enable organisations to contribute meaningfully to nation-building by supporting ethical leadership, holistic wellbeing, cultural continuity, and long-term societal resilience.

Partner with MAV to create measurable social impact while preserving and advancing India’s ancient knowledge for future generations.

DAM Initiative

Preserving India’s Spiritual Heritage through Digital Asset Management (DAM)

Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay (MAV) is developing a robust Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform to systematically archive, organise, and preserve over four decades of spiritual research, Indian Knowledge Systems, manuscripts, images, audio, video, and experimental documentation for long-term access.

Designed as a multilingual and research-ready repository, the DAM will standardise metadata across Marathi, Hindi, and English, enabling scholars, institutions, and future generations to discover, study, and apply this knowledge responsibly and efficiently.

MAV Syllabus

Developing a Holistic Spiritual Curriculum for Modern Education

At MAV, we are committed to revitalising the moral and spiritual fabric of contemporary society through education. This initiative aligns with the UGC-developed guidelines on “Mulya Pravah 2.0 — Inculcation of Human Values and Professional Ethics in Higher Educational Institutions,” as per the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP-2020).

Our curriculum is based on the wisdom of the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), which we are adapting to be relevant to today’s generation. As we continue to grow towards establishing a full-fledged university campus on over 100 acres of procured land, we look forward to governmental and community support for this noble endeavour.

MAV Campus

Building a Living Campus for Research, Learning, and Societal Well-being

MAV envisions the development of a large, spiritually conducive campus that enables the University to scale its education, research, and outreach for the benefit of society, the nation, and the world.

Having procured over 100 acres of land, MAV can significantly expand its work across education, environmental research, culture, health, and sustainability—multiplying impact far beyond what is possible within its current limited premises.

Virtual Reality – Temple Project

Preserving Temple Heritage Through Immersive Virtual Reality Experiences

MAV, in collaboration with our partner WhoVR, is developing immersive virtual reality experiences that enable people worldwide to explore Indian temples through realistic 360-degree walk-throughs, combining advanced VR technology with authentic spiritual research and educational content.

Beginning with major temples of Goa, this initiative digitally documents temple architecture, rituals, and spiritual significance, while educating users on the correct and meaningful way to perform darshan—making sacred spaces accessible across geography, age, and physical ability.
